M. Frances Barron, a thirty-eight-year resident of Nevada, was the Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of the AscentrA Corporate System. This system of entrepreneurial companies, headquartered in Las Vegas, included as many as twenty-three corporate entities.

A Registered Nurse for fifty-six years, Ms. Barron’s career encompasses numerous start-up ventures, acquisitions and successful harvesting of corporations and partnerships.

Francie is a graduate of the Washington Hospital School of Nursing in Washington, Pennsylvania.  She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia, and holds a master’s degree in business administration from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.

A division of the companies owned by Francie and her partners was included in the “Inc 500” listing of the 500 fastest growing privately held companies in the nation in 1996.  Another company owned by Francie has been counted in the “Inc 500” listing in 2003, 2004 and 2005.  Home Care Magazine consistently listed the Home Care Companies owned by Ms Barron in the Top 60 Home Care Companies in America.

Additionally, the corporate group created by Ms. Barron was listed by Working Woman Magazine as one of America’s Top 500 Women-Owned Businesses.  Her companies also ranked in the Top 100 Privately Held Companies in Las Vegas.

Ms. Barron was honored by In Business Las Vegas as one of the initial Forty Most Influential Women in the Southern Nevada Business Community.

She has served as the Chairperson and a Member of the Nevada State Board of Health, a Member of the Nevada State Environmental Commission, a Trustee and past Chair of the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District, a Member and Chairperson of the Las Vegas Clark County Library Foundation, a Board Member of Boys Town, Nevada, a Board Member of the Nevada Association of Medical Product Suppliers; the Las Vegas Executives Association, and served as a founding Board Chair of a local Charter School. 

She has been a Member of the Board of Directors of a Bank since 1998.  Her banking experience includes Board Membership with the Bank of Commerce and Kirkwood Bank of Nevada.  She currently serves as a Director of GenuBank.

Ms. Barron is married to Doctor Alistair O Barron, a Board-Certified Physician who specializes in adult, child, and adolescent psychiatry.
